Iris House National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day Event
Today from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm the Iris House will continue its Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day Event.
The Iris House provides services for women, families, and communities that are affected by HIV/AIDS. Prevention and education services for clients are also part of Iris House’s mission.
On February 7th 2012 the Iris House held an event where you could meet Miss Universe Leila Lopes and get free HIV & Hep C testing.
About Iris House
Iris House was established in 1993 by the Women and AIDS Working Group. They provide services for women, families, and communities in New York City that are dealing with HIV/AIDS. Iris House is able to offer practical and family-centered services to help with the day-to-day realities of living with HIV/AIDS.
