Condom brand Mates has a new brand of condom called SKYN and is preparing for its first global ad campaign to promote the new brand. Mates has chosen the time around Valentine’s Day to set in motion ambitious plans to become the planet’s #1 premium condom brand.
The new campaign called “This Changes Everything” kicks off with outdoor advertising that includes London, Paris, Warsaw, and New York City. The cities are considered “romantic” and Mates wants to take away customers from competitors Durex and Trojan.
There will also be a lot of other channels that will support the launch including a internet video, mobile app, and a Laser Show on February 14th at London’s Battersea Power Station.
